jacquie + nick

As my first wedding of 2010, I couldn't have asked for a more down-to-earth couple. The chemistry between jacquie and nick was completely unrehearsed and natural which allowed me to photograph with ease and little direction as to how to hold their heads, hands, or where to look.

The event was saturated with their personality; from the bright color palette, to the location that held ballet-class memories for the bride and her sister, and even to the norwegian crepe cake tradition, called a Kransekake. (The cake revealed that jacquie and nick would eventually be parents of two children!)
